Tori is a bird-identification flashcard app, operated by ekiben.dev.

Tori does not collect any personal data, has no accounts, and shows no ads. It downloads bird photos and data to your device, but never uploads anything about you. We collect no categories of personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
We do not collect or transmit any personal data. No accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising, no tracking. No data about you or how you use the app is ever sent to us or to any third party.
Tori downloads its bird species data and photos from a content server (Cloudflare R2) so the app can work. This is a one-way download: your device requests the content, and the files are sent to it. Nothing about you is uploaded in the process.
As with visiting any website, the server that delivers the content receives your device's IP address in order to send the files back. We do not use this to identify or track you. The content is hosted on Cloudflare, whose handling of that request is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Your settings, your saved decks, your species filters, and your ignore list are stored only on your device, so the app remembers your choices between sessions. This data never leaves your device and we have no access to it. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in your device settings, deletes it permanently.
If you use the "report a photo" button, the app opens your own email application with a pre-filled message (the species name, the photo link, and the reason you selected). Nothing is sent unless you choose to send that email yourself. If you do, we receive that message and the address you send it from, and we use that address only to look into the report and reply to you. We do not add it to any mailing list or use it for anything else, and you can delete the pre-filled text or write from a different address before sending.
Tori requests only internet access, which it uses solely to download the bird content described above. It does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or files.
Apart from an email you send us yourself through "report a photo", we never receive or hold any of your data, so we cannot export, modify, or delete it on your behalf — and we never need to. All of your data is on your device and under your control. To erase it, clear the app's data or uninstall the app. The one exception is an email you choose to send us through "report a photo": to have that message and its sender address deleted, write to the contact address above.
We do not share, sell, or disclose any data to third parties. There are no advertising networks or analytics services in this app. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. The only third party involved is the content-hosting provider (Cloudflare) described under "Content Download," which delivers files to your device and receives your IP address to do so.
Tori is a general-audience educational app suitable for all ages. It does not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
